Thanks! Good to see Peter putting more out. He's one of the few people I keep tabs on.

Time to put the QUAN back in taijiQUAN. Time to put the YANG back in YANG style taiji.

Couldn't watch the clips for some reason.
From my limited experience with Peter both in person training and via online course I can honestly say that he has some of the deepest martial arts I've seen and felt. :)

Mix:

Only one clip there as far as I could see:
A few seconds of Ralston waffling re "learning about your bod, learning about yourself."

Ho hum.

With a fast count I could see 27 clips to choose between. What browser do you use?

Some interesting stuff, throws, apps and principles. And free play. It reminds me of the shenwu with the focus on effortlesness and more free style boundaries. Nice approach.

There should be a list of clips below as well. Click on the title of the clip you want and it queues up in the player. Press play.

It is really nice to see this stuff in action. Truly effortless!

What strikes me most about his play is its incredibly loose quality, I can only imagine how it looked years ago.

They certainly get their feet moving to control the engagement.

Yes, he doesn't seem to rely on the peng/structure model as much as many people these days. Too bad that aspect of IMA gets overemphasized. Nothing wrong with it of course, but it gets touted as the only way a bit too much. Ralston shows what the other side can do when fully explored.

If I can just elaborate a little on what Formosa is saying, Ralston actually advocates using no strength at all. His whole power comes from compression of the limbs through the body into the ground. He may be the softest martial artist in the world. He literally just rests has hands on you and uses his body to do the rest. Its a strange feeling.
