Bagua Zhang of the Grandmaster

Bagua doesn't just look cooler in this film - Zhang Ziyi's character actually talks of her father not showing it to anybody because it is too deadly. He just shows them Xingyi.

I didn’t find The Grandmaster anything to marvel about. The martial arts scenes nothing particularly exiting, nothing crisp at all except for the Xingyiquan, in overall the actors dancer influences shines through way to obvious, sloppy.
The best over all acting is probably from the guy(name slips me) who is a popular mainland China TV/light theatre performer.

Although the thread is about the baguazhang stuff in that movie the film is an Ip Man movie, and as for Ip Man movies of 2013 in my mind the ‘Final Fight’ starring Anthony Wong is far better.
