I hope someone helps me on this: I saw a video once of Ueshiba sparring with an american reporter. I remember the guy had a gi. I think i saw it an an old Aikido website that is probably gone now.

Does anyone remembers the clip, or has a link to it?

I think that was one of Ueshiba's top guys not Ueshiba himself but could be wrong. will look for the clip i am on about.

IIRC - there was footage of Ueshiba playing with one of JFK's bodyguards.

It was Gozo Shioda who demo'd on the JFK bodyguard. Classic film! I think it's still on YouTube as part of a 10-minute excerpt of a TV documentary on Shioda.
