Cripes, that is I think what Steve Morris would call "really fighting" :) Nasty!

Strange effects on that initial clip, when dude gets KOed the guy seems to shoot forward into foot parallel position and everything lurches, not sure what happened? Probably just crappy mobile footage rather than any supersonic ninja ting.

Thanks for posting!

That was super cool.

BTW, this has more to do with Fight Club the movie (Ed norton's face on one of the clips) than anything martial arts related or fight training. So its basically no gloves, no rules, no timer. Just soap.

guys who think this is no good:

do you object to their technique, or the format?

or just the general idea of taking your training there?

looked to me like simply standing in and trading shots, which i don't dig as a strategy or training......it is too easy to get really hurt for the amount of skill gained imho....but hey i am into longevity, generosity and joy this is just not where my head is at all with the arts.

All three for me to be honest. Purely distasteful and unnecessary.

I have to agree here, watching dudes hail Mary on each other bare knuckle styles ain't my thing, I can go into town on a Friday night and watch drunken idiots do that.

If they were at least wearing some type of protection would make it a bit better, I can't see anything warranted in entering these fights apart from having the balls to step up and smash or get smashed.

MMA is much more fun to watch.

You know I did something like this years ago and from being in guard I got the shit ripped out of my back, like herendous skin burn from the concrete - WAS not worht it.
My bandages kept ripping off the scabs and took months to fully heal - oh the realities!!!

I can see how you guys don't think much of the technique and format, but if you don't take your training there (not all the time, of course), how do you know whether your material works or not? assuming you're not just practicing for health and simple enjoyment (nothing wrong with that, btw).

are you so confident in your ability to deal with this kind of attack?

Sometimes men just have to fight. I don't recall there being anything about martial arts being promoted there, so what's the big deal?
