When my sifu would talk about history, a passion of his, at times I would listen in horse stance. Sometimes I would create fantasy in my mind. One day he was telling how the bagua can and historically was used as code in battle field conditions. Because of smoke and dust the trigrams wouldn't be understood by the enemy and communicate directions of attack and defense.

This old movie clip cracked me up because it was identical to my fantasy. My imagination of history sometimes looks like old silent movies in my mind. Maybe too many hallucinogens as a youth?
