Just like all the other amazing Taiji demos -- with a partner willingly provide a frame without resistance to be maneuvered on.

It's not a bad way to demonstrate certain phenomena and principles of IMA, but shouldn't be confused with realistic applications.

uh I'm sorry, but that is just fake.look at the last one. the guy he's doing "ge shan da niu" through moves super slowly backwards, and then the guy in the back jumps back. retarded.

Not sure if this is the same guy, but a friend of mine showed me some videos that were very similar to these and thought that it was impressive because the demonstrator was very good at the rough and tumble sort of push hands/sparring as well. My friend took it as proof that this sort of empty force/no movement stuff is effective and viable-- I took it as the guy wanting to sell a bunch of DVDs to people that didn't know any better.
