Doggie Style

Postby Dr.Rob on Wed Sep 23, 2009 10:13 am

A good athlete, very strong legs a bit of a wushuized version. One of my buddies used to say...(old timer) "if you ever had to fight a guy who did dog style, throw something at him and run." They have trained hard and long to make the system worked...chences are they are tough.

OMG, the "application" for 'lifting leg to pee'?! :o ;D Now that's funny. (Even though it probably wasn't meant to be.)

It's hard to see (for me personally) anything beyond general athleticism in all these various forms... (same goes for Tom's "Wu Song Tuo Kao" on the other thread, etc., etc.)
Clearly a result of a lot of hard work, but beyond basic physical attributes (agility, coordination, etc.), forms show NOTHING at all, as far as MA go.

Others mileage I'm sure will vary, as usual.

None of those styles will defeat Monkey Style (Tai Shing Pek Kwar):

Mother of god..

That Paulie Zenk monkey style is amazing.. you legitimately would not be able to tell that was not a monkey if the lighting were poor and you were videotaping.

Awesome.

Against Dog Style, the recommended technique is to back kick him, hard, in the mug when he stoops down to sniff your arse.
Against Duck Style, simply brandish a wok and watch him waddle off, terrified. Turtle is tricker: You need to learn the secret "Shark Form." And as for Monkey: Offer him a bag of peanuts and a banana, and he'll be your pal. Game over.

Fighting animal stylists? Nothing to it.

If you like that first clip of Sifu Paulie Zink, you'll probably like this one as well. Enjoy!
