I feel very sad. Being a Greek, I saw this on the news in the national television a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have a clue that this young man was the one mentioned here.
Mount Olympus has "taken" a lot of people...
Sad.

Poor lad, RIP. And what Tom said: An appropriate tribute.

Interesting the way the Interweb works....ie that someone can, on a forum devoted to MA, discover a distant kinship with a previously unknown person, from another country, who died in a climbing accident.

On a not entirely unrelated note, would it be rude at this point to add that:
(1) It is good to see the fabled Daito Ryu JJ finally exit the closet; and
(2) Contrary to earlier expectations raised on this forum, most of the empty hand material is, indeed, very similar to Hapkido.
Services available:
Pies scoffed. Ales quaffed. Beds shat. Oiks irked. Chavs chinned. Thugs thumped. Sacks split. Arses goosed. Udders ogled. Canines consumed. Sheep shagged.Matrons outraged. Vicars enlightened. PM for rates.

RIP
Martin Lund Rasmussen

In case you are unfamiliar with Eddie Mush, he was the character in the movie "A Bronx Tale" who was a total jinx. He had a perfect track record of losing every bet he ever placed as well as jinxing everyone around him.

not rude no,

I would say that this is the basic shoden level JuJutsu techniques many of which can be found in other Traditional Ryuha.

The weapon work is from a completely different school.

all the best
