Tribute to a training brother

Postby middleway on Tue Sep 29, 2009 3:10 am

Hi all,

Couple of vids my friend martyn put online of a good friend and training brother of ours Stephen Wright who we tragically lost a couple of weeks ago age 22.

This shows the basic Shoden Level work of Daito Ryu.

... and here he is performing traditional Bo with another senior student then taking ukemi for my DR and Kobudo teacher with Hanbo.

He will be sadly missed. RIP Bro.

Hope you all enjoy

Regards
Chris

It was a climbing accident Ian.

He was really a top lad ... a sincerely nice guy all round and one hell of a MAist for his age! He has left a big gap at our old JJ school.

Cheers for the condolences. I just wanted to show people some of the stuff he liked. His BoJustu was powerful and accurate, he had maturity and skill beyond his years.

thanks
Chris

RIP and condolences for your loss. 22 is far too young. May we remember that it's not about the training, it's about the lives we train to protect and the friends we make along the way.
