And a WHITE belt, he must just be a student.

Yes. the gi is only worn for filming for national geographic. sort of being "formal" or ettiquette.

His teacher was a shaolin monk. so his stuff is from shaolin temple.

his clips are of interests.

1. the sun rising qi gong, while tucking in dan tian or abdomen area, he also practiced twirling or loosening the finger and wrist joints. these are important for qin na.

2. his gong li fist can also be part of breathing exercise, the twirling of forearms, the grabbing hand pulling backward, the pushing palm or fist forward etc, these are also important for qin na.

3. I like the first clip, as it showed that as in shuai jiao, practice of qin na techniques needs to be done with a live partner about the same height first.

on the side note;

if you see qin na and shuai jiao people practicing some moves/postures, the moves may look wider and longer in shape as opposed to much closer or tighter posture in your regular boxing/fist forms.

In Japanese and Okinawan arts a red belt and a red and white belt are above the blackbelt. It's a "grandmaster" level so to speak.

One gripe I have with the first clip is that their moves are incomplete. I don't mean breaking, but for example upwards qin na should have your partner on tip-toes.
