From what you're describing it sounds like what is called "immortal tortoise emerging from the sea" but I didn't see that until around 1:11 in the video you see as excellent.

To me it's no different than all of the other jian wu demo's on the net. They all look like they learned by watching Yao Zhong Xun's films.
