Jose posted one a while ago that looked not too bad at all.... I think it was song style. It was shot in China. I think it's more of a demo than 'free' if you know what I mean.

The second clip, if i remember correctly , was teacher and student , the student to do his best in defense, it is what I would like my kung to resemble in a fight . The first clip shows how easily form disentigrates in a fight, I would guess both these gentlemen seem to be high level performers in form but much of the technique was indiscernable during the fight. In both clips there was the obvious intent of good natured competition. Is that Liu De Shu in the glasses?

Oh I really don't think it's that bad, despite what the title suggested. It's not all show, and was fairly typical of CMA people's sparring. Both of them are notable practitioner of their styles in the Chengdu area.

Coincidentally, I was right there in Shanxi on the second clip. It was my martial cousin Cheng Wen Xin and his student demonstrating. He has some truly awesome skills.

I think i missed something also. Wheres the xingyi in the fist clip? and i dont mean it in the "thats too crappy to be called XYQ" tone.. ...i didnt recognize the solo forms they were doing.

A bit of light free-sparring - nothing wrong with it. Neiher of them got in close enough to do any significant damage, for the most part, but clearly they are not enemies.

Who/what style was the porky chap in the grey jacket? He had quite a nice style in the solo work, but was it HsingI?

Can't see the first video, but the heading says "Emei Wudang (person who received the transmission)"... Maybe not xingyi? I can't see, though...

The style of the big guy was referred to as Wudang Xingyi. So it was billed as Wudang vs Emei, straight from the kungfu flicks. Here is another video of him doing some very pretty form work.
