re 2nd vid:
misconception 1
anytime 2 fighters com into contact, it is a contest of force.
whether it is tuishou, roushou, wrestling, or in this case qinna
what i mean is that one should not be particularly worried or afraid of qinna, whenever some into contact it is force against force.
misconception 2
many use eyes to see, and think that the hands are strong
but in ima we know that the legs must be very strong and intelligent to be skilled fighter.
it seems that the grabber has strong hands, but i think he win based on his mabu and the strength is transmitted to the hands.
again back to the concept of force against force, this vid is like the grabber take a rope, throw around a tree and try to shake and move it.
if it is a large tree, the grabber cannot do it
if it was a man height potted plant, then it is no problem.
i dun like to use qinna, so if i am grabbed like the guy in the 2nd vid i will hit uppper cut to the underside of the upper arm of the grabber.
it will be interesting to see how many punch he can last.
if you want something more fierce, punch the armpit straight into the ribcage.
if he punch with the other arm, just use your step and trunk to pull back. it will counteract and neutralise the punch.
of course, all above will require you have strong mabu.
why i dun like qinna, cos you see in this case, you fixed on arm on me but control none of my arms
it is very dangerous.
of course if you do not want to hurt your opponent, you can do like the 3rd vid
again you see it is very strong, flexible legs and waist and trunk.
just what i think cheers
