meh.. I didn't like it. To be honest, I've never been a fan of big circular parries that involve sticking and redirecting the arm like that. #1 it's too slow... and even done at actual speed, if he feints or the timing is off even half a beat you're going to eat a fist.
It's like this one cimande video I saw where the uke leaves his arm out while the defender redirects it in a circle, grabs it with the other hand, punches the fist with his fist and then does a wristlock. I remember thinking, if I tried that against a determined attack I'd get steamrolled. I prefer the applications that take the line and go right in.
Maybe if he showed the hits it would be more convincing, but as it is I'm not too impressed.
