Has anyone installed this? Is it worth it?

no. no like, nowant, is bogustness and serves no actual purpose. unless you want to keep your computing experience 100% microsoft based an install a redundant tool that is already widely available and that no one except ms develops for.

this is an extension of the live service, which is a little invasie to begin with and merely seeks to push out other media players in favour of ms players and properietary apps only.

more bullshit coralling from microsoft.

Not yet. I don't know, it depends how many Microsoft site you browse I guess. We will see if it picks up. So far, Flash is pretty much the standard nowadays. I really do think that Silverlight was not needed but it probably aimed at creating some division in the Web so it can be exploited by M$.

PS:

Yeah, Darth is right. I did install Silverlight because I am using MSDN for work. If it wasn't for this, I would NO TOUCH!
