important considerations besides looks:

do they have their shit together, career goals, interests outside of modelling?

are they smart, emotionally stable, mature, decent human beings?

but it doesn't matter anyway because once again they failed to pick the most attractive-looking women.

miss taiwan isn't shu qi? = epic fail

I'd like to see another format for viewing the contestants..

Once in a swimsuit
Once in evening-wear
and once with a collar and leash on all fours...with the question "Just how badly do you wanna be Miss Universe? Roll cameras!"
What I really need right now is a montage....

This shit is so irrelevant.

I wish people would just drop tis stuff and move forward in time.

It's not 1950 and the world isn't naive and ill educated anymore.
Women aren't objects and these pageants serve to support a patriarchal ideal that is decidedly dead in the next single generation.

stop the rule of old thinking!

huzzah.

p.s my miss universe is at work right now, where's yours?

It's a tie between the following three, IMHO:
