Wasp knife holy crap !!

This weapon injects a frozen ball of compressed gas approximately the size of a basketball at 800psi nearly instantly. The effects of this injection will drop many of the world's largest land predators. The effects of the compressed gas not only cause over-inflation during ascent when used underwater, but also freezes all tissues and organs surrounding the point of injection on land or at sea. When used underwater, the injected gas carries the predator to the surface BEFORE blood is released into the water. Thus giving the diver added protection by diverting other potential predators to the surface.

Wow. Damn. I mean, yeah if you can avoid the predators altogether, great. But if you get attacked by a shark or a bear and all ya got is a knife... I'd want it to be this one!! :o Of course, you KNOW that it'll be a popular tool of the trade for assassins who like knives, and possibly certain Special Operations personnel...

what keeps the knife from floating away?

one could safely assume a lanyard would keep the knife from floating away

You can buy it with different handle materials if that's a problem.

The gas is compressed, which makes it more dense, which makes it heavier than water.

Of course if there are two sharks, or you only stick the knife in the bear's shoulder, or if whatever you sticks twists away before you push the button....

Cool idea, but spraying a big mess when you stab someone is not cool. Yuck.

Actually they should get a big mammal, like a full grown pig, and test the effects. I'd prefer that they do it against a full grown wild russian boar with tusk. In the cage, one on one.
