That is going to 'WTF' a lot of people. It's looking good but I still cannot fathom how they are going to 'movieize' Watchmen. What... where do you even begin? How long is it going to be? What morals are people going to walk away from the movie with? I'm truly perplexed (though this is not uncommon for me).

That said if they have the Comedian, if they have Doctor Manhattan built his glass castle on Mars, if they have Veidt's monster 'turn up' in Manhattan... it's going to have it's moments

Smashing Pumpkins track is a nice touch - modern music with a tone to it that for me, fits the mood to Watchmen quite well.

I'm still skeptical that the story can make the jump, but the visuals look pretty good. I'm not wild about Ozy's batman plastic costume, but I suppose I'll survive.

It looks good. But never having read the comic book, I don't want to poop on this party but I have to ask: what is the difference between this and X-Men? From the description, it sounds more or less like a cross between X-Men and Mystery Men.

Teo. You REALLY need to read it. Watchmen is not about super powers...its about, well...really fucked up people with metal in their spines, and a whole lot of baggage on their back. Everyone is a hero and a villain at the same time. Its also the only graphic novel to appear on Time Magazine's 2005 list of "the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present."

Xmen is to Watchmen what Mother Goose is to Hemmingway.
