I remember a few months ago when Edwards' friend tried to cover for him claiming he was the father of the woman's child. I don't think anyone really believed it, and now that Edwards has gone to visit the woman in the middle of the night there is no denying it.
I feel sorry for Edwards' wife, battling cancer is tough enough without having to go through this.

I think that the National Enquirer wouldn't have printed it without solid proof since Edwards is a famous civil lawyer and would sue them out of existance if this story is false.

The story is important as I feel this eliminates him from getting the VP slot.

It's a given that they are liars by virtue of being politicians or even lawyers. That comes with the territory and there isn't an honest man sitting in any seat of governance in any country on the planet dependent upon you perspective and your opinion of the facts.
