Life Sucks

Postby DeusTrismegistus on Thu Jul 24, 2008 7:00 am

My girlfriend of 5 years who I was planning on proposing to left me yesterday while I was returning from a vacation with my dad. Looks like I will have more time to practice. Don't really know why I am posting this, just want to vent I guess.

Sorry to hear that DT. Seems to be the season for that. Many of my friends are leaving or have been left by someone!

Sorry to hear that man. It sucks big time. The good thing is that you will get over this, with time, and you will have a new outlook on love. Just don't get the bitterness win.

In a way, it is maybe better this way. It would have been worse if you proposed, she accepted but would have left you sometime down the road, maybe with kids. This may not take the sting out of it, but better now than later.

Ugh - sorry about your bad news, Deus. Chin up, other fish, at least there were no kids involved....

My condolences, DT. I'm still recovering from my own breakup. I'll send you some hand lotion.

Yo Deus! Sorry to hear it. Been there, done that, it blows.

I highly second the others' advice and recommend training like a fiend, drinking like a fish, and masturbating like a banshee.

Sorry to hear that, DT. (Sometimes I wonder if human beings should have evolved a way to self-reproduce instead - or perhaps we can follow the Indian example and have happy arranged marriages (no headache)...)

Thanks guys. Send a big bottle of lotion TJ cause I am gonna need it.

I am going to try to turn this into something positive, I have been through a lot with that girl and I don't think anything will change the way a feel about her. I just gotta acknowledge it, let it go, and move on. This is just going to be a hard one to get through.

Did you try to let her know how you feel? If you didn't - maybe you can give it one more shot...
