Check out this site for some cool do-it-yourself gimmicks and other stuff, such as making a night-vision scope from a drugstore disposable camera.

These are ideal on hydro stat fuel supply for regular engines. It is worth the looking into making one for you car, often improving gas mileage to better than 60 per gallon.
