what up with the board software?

you guys have issues where if you close the browser at the wrong moment it starts spawning unlimited browsers?

right now, every 10 seconds it opens a browser to the last thread I posted on at ef forum despite the fact I'm busy doing other things now.

there's a timer on the 'submit' page, where it says "click here to view your post" and "click here to view the last forum"
if I close the browser at 'just the right time' it goes insane on me in IE 6

I use (Japanese) IE, never had a problem. The board DOES look funny when I try to view it in (English) Opera, though.

My money would be on it having nothing to do with the forum but instead it's a virus or malware on meeks comp.

IE6?! IE6?! IE6?!

except for the ability to pirate videos, etc. by being able to dip into your temp internet files, IE is junk, and IE6 is old, outdated, non standards compliant junk.

the problem could just be the lack of standards compliance, so there might be some .css markup/javascript (probably java more likely) that is behaving unpredictably in the browser.

listen to fong. download FF, it's free and it rocks. plus it's very very standards compliant.

meeks, at the very least, you should upgrade to ie7. ie6 has thirty million security holes. ie7 is better, but firefox is still better.

I love Fire Fox myself. The ONLY reason I even use IE is because one of my clients claim that uploads get messed up form Firefox (I don't buy it), so they blocked Firefox access to thier site...I'm basically forced to use IE for them.

I use Firefox as well and haven't had any problems.

Meeks you should listen to Ashe and Fong, there is no reason for you to be on IE6. If you must use IE, then upgrade to IE7.
