The bigger the love inside you, the less you are affected by outside circumstances. To feel this love, we have to let go of a lot of unnecessary mental burdens. Meditation is the way to achieve that.

Tai Chi is a superb method to accompany such a transformative process if one chooses to commit to such an undertaking.

Well said and agreed. 8-)

So then, do you think that personal spiritual cultivation is the catalyst or key to development of all types of enhanced unconscious and subconscious awareness, including the extrasensory situational awareness discussed in this thread?

I'd maybe add that the acceptance of the way things are and will naturally unfold is essential in not making your life more complicated than it needs to be. To keep yourself and other's out of harm's way by not making stupid mistakes. For example, not many people HAVE to go to war. Maybe not yet, that is. Wanting to 'fix' or remove the suffering on this world most often is a terrible idea. In the context of meditation and cultivation, you can gradually reduce your own suffering by working through all sorts of mental burdens.

Agreed. Thanks for replying.

It has been my regular observation that most people are mentally burdened by the constant distraction of their own incessant internal mental dialogue, and thus, are rarely fully present in the moment anywhere at anytime.

As a result, in regards to extrasensory situational awareness, the likelihood of such individuals being caught off guard for example in an ambush attack is nearly a 100% probability, since a less calm and more occupied mind is generally a less alert mind, typically accompanied by slower physical reactions. They simply never see it coming.

Following up on the most recent comments to this thread, does anyone here find any relationship between extrasensory awareness, or any other intuitive psychic phenomenon, and the subtle, non-physical expressions of ting-jin?

It's a good picture, but if it were such a web, the transmission, whether conscious or unconscious, would lack complexity.

How can the spider know what's moving the web and then act accordingly?

Is it the wind, prey, a bird or a child with hairspray and lighter? Or a potential mate?

spider feel the vibrations of the web, he clearly read (know) why his net is vibrating.
And information is quite complex, 0 and 1 are able to virtually recreate whole universe, remember?

I edited >fills< on >feel< , but in this case both are the same

Thanks Doc

Are spiders actually able to tell apart different vibrations? I mean why not. Magnitude and frequency

But 0 and 1 result in all sorts of emotions and stuff

Fuzzy feelings are nice <3 At least from time to time

In general, it seems likely that everyone is capable of experiencing extrasensory phenomenon, but primarily by allowing themselves to do so through open subconscious sensitivity to same, rather than by consciously making it happen.
