i call "set up" on that one.

I have known some people who have this as their fear reflex.
I swing the backdoor wide open where I work, the door usually locks everytime but I leave it open a crack to go out and get some coffee. One time I did it and a little lady I work with screamed and put up her hands in a boxing stance and was a blink away from decking me.
Luckily for me she realized it was me at the last moment.

It's hard to see his face through the mask without X-Ray Vision.
Ashe, I also wonder if it is fake because it there is almost a second between the time the guy pops up and the time he gets punched. It seems a bit long for a flinch reflex but maybe the puncher went in to "fight mode" and he could not control it. On the other hand, the way the zombie head's wobbles after the punch does not look fake.
I have seen a similar gag once on TV where some zombie poped out from the ground to scare people passing by. A guy reacted by trying to kick the head of the thing. The kick was quite fast, I think he missed but he attemped to chase the zombie until he managed to control himself.
