Footwear?

Postby ParryPerson on Sun Sep 21, 2008 3:26 pm

I wear chuck taylors outside class, when in class I have these indoor shoes I got from the school that have a flat sole but otherwise look like a normal "sport" shoe on top. I was wondering if flat soled shoes in general would be a good idea for me? The chuck are pretty flat but they feel more like boats. I had been looking at indoor soccor type shoes. Other than the chucks I have no other shoes, and don't want to mess up my indoor class shoes working out.

What kind of shoes do you guys wear outside class? How about in class (or no shoes at all)?

Just curious.

Something flat soled would be good.
I think puma's are quite nice.

I was looking at pumas, and also looking at

But I can't be sure of how flat it is on the bottom.

Know where I could buy a pair? A quick google search didn't yield a store. EDIT: Nevermind I found them, and pretty cheap to boot!

I know someone in my class that uses these, and they look great, but are hugely out of my price range.

Some of the guys I hang with are wearing these "Gorilla Feet" things. They are ultra light, black rubber bottoms, Gortex shoes with individual Toe fingers that look sort of like Gorilla feet. I am considering getting myself a pair just for the oddity of it all.

I run alot, and am finding more and more aches and pains. Style for me is first, But comfortable insoles are important in whatever I'm wearing. Excercise takes a toll on the body.

After looking around, for the price, I'm trying some Feiyues, I mean at that price whats it going to hurt. Thanks for the heads up... My newbishness speaks with the fact I had no idea what Feiyues were.

I wear Nike wrestling shoes and Discipline Footwear in class. I am very rarely barefeet these days but I may get a pair of Vibram Five Fingers (shouldn't it be Toes?). For outside training, I wear Feiyues, Discipline Footwear and Magnum boots.

For daily activities I wear anything from Crocs to Merrel sandals to Feiyues to laceless dress shoes to Magnum boots and Salomon snow shoes (when I can afford them).

Teo is lying. He always, always wears combat boots. He's Romanian and he doesn't fuck around. ;D

Why not wear the same inside, something wrong with them?

Black low-top chucks:

In class and outside.
General rule of thumb being, train in what you wear (not just shoes.) At least as close to that as possible anyway.

Actually, yes I do own a pair of Fluevogs. However they are for men and are much more attractive on me than those would be. :D
