where can I buy a long pole?

but I'll ask home depot if they can order a waxwood one for me...hm... 9' apparently is the packaging limit for standard shippers like fedex.

Order a 9' pole and attach a 3' blade to it. Voila! Instant 12' pole!

That looks like 12 feet to me.

(Btw, I got mine 9 foot from a Karate dojo.)

Kuenway go up to 9'6" for waxwood. Usually they have a sale on every 6 months or so. I got a bunch of 8'6" Wing chun ironwood poles from them which are heavy and not too flexible.
If you can find someone else around that needs one, shipping costs virtually nothing extra for additional poles. They're also less likely to be damaged in transit that way.
