btw, why has there never been a decent lovecraft film?

Because Lovecraft is psychological horror, and most directors don't have the imagination to pull that off.

I seem to recall many years ago an attempt being made at " Notebook found n a deserted House", but it never got released. Anyone know anything about what happened to it? (My Fangoria subscription lapsed over a decade ago )

at least, i enjoyed it. pretty creepy, great effects for the day.
