i bought 10 euros and used about 3 and the rest they pocketed and closed my skype out access telling me it has "expired".
Not impressed and I advise you to not purchase anything from skype.

So Darth, how long did you have the cash in there before they did that? I'm just wondering 'cos it's coming up for renewal time for me & so far Skype's been ok.

not a problem with teh software, it works fine.
How long I've had the skype out credits is irrelevant. I bought a toaster 2 years ago, I still have it and am able to use it, because that was my purchase.
having said that, I've had my credits for a year and a half or so.
