you know, back in my dope smokin' days, i had this idea of a universal groove. drummers, musicians, etc. tap into this when they get into that zone where the song/rhythm/groove just sort of effortlessly flows through them as they're playing. it's an awesome feeling if you've ever experienced it.

One of my favorite drummers as well.

But for me the pinnacle of metal drumming is Tomas Haake's playing.
