yes, it is
I was there in February - and decided to do it again,
excellent weather and climate, + you can easy avoid all touristic places and still be quite close to" civilization .
Not to expensive, - two weeks for two, including: round trip fly, renting 2room apartment in the good place in el Medano - windsurfing paradise, + renting a car and food - no more than $1500.
Everything prepared via internet .-rock-
+
Deep breathing on the meddle of the ocean - free of charge
I would highly recommend it. This is real vacation paradise .

ps
worth to feel the place, before tsunami which will destroy east US coast will be born.
Follow the prophecy we are quite close to the solid earthquake which will destroy Canaris and awake the wave. ???

Have a great time, Wiesiek, and don't worry about any tsunami. It is/was supposed that part of the island of La Palma (also Canaries) might collapse and cause a megastunami across the Atlantic but this theory has been pretty much discredited since then. The original article claiming the danger wasn't peer reviewed before publication and just about every other expert since then says "not true". Even if a collapse did occur then it almost certainly wouldn't be as big, quick and catastrophic as claimed.

And even if the rock flank is unstable then it should be good for at least the next 10,000 years... :)

Isn't that the island where they had that horrific plane collision on the runway that killed about 500 passengers?

hmm,
maybe Ron lost someone in the air crash ...
anyway there is over two millions of tourists during the summer season, mostly from GB,Germany, and US, - so, space is pretty crowdy around airports.

Amazingly, it is quite easy to find small empty beaches with red or black sands / classic yellow are rare/,
however I wasn`t there in the summer /to hot for my taste/,
and
I like to travel off the touristic seasons, always if it is possible.
If not, I do not move my arse from Krakow or mountains /just 1h car ride from my home/

No, I had no one in the air crash - it just popped into my head when I heard Tenerife. Please have a grand time, I wish I could be there with you, as it's getting cold in Philly.

Everyone should. Schiphol is the worst airport ever. Even worse than Beijing.

If your plane come in too late and you miss your transfer and there's no planes until the morning, you will spend the whole night stand in different cues the whole night to get a room for a hotel. When you arrive, ot's already morning and you need to get back to the airport. The worst service and treatment ever. I will never ever travel with KLM again.

For international travel - avoid it to all cost.

thx, guys
hopefully I had direct fly from Krakow to Tenerife South by Ryanair, for 120 Euros round trip , really hard to beat :)
and
finishing word in this Tenerife commercial thread:
as in all similar places around the world, - avoid "resorts areas" for any cost ...
