So a couple of site members have told me they've received stage messages from me through various means.

I just want to state definitively that the only place I use this name is on the message boards and private inbox here on site.

If it's not on this site but claims to be from oragami_itto and we haven't already discussed contact outside this board, it's fake news. Don't believe the hype

That one was totally me, and I would have gotten away with it if it weren't for you darn kids!

I mean, is it paranoid to think someone has a desire to turn members of the community against me? I'd figure my own posts would be enough for that. No help needed.

Don't think it was through this board, but from social media, youtube channels etc. I got a very weird comment on my blog from Mr. "Origami_itto". The dude must have mental issues and way too much time to kill.


....BTW... The IP I got was from Oregon...

it happens from time to time with a facebook friend of mine, i'll get some random email with their name on it.
not malicious but still. any other info on this; did someone have to have hacked this site - someone who has it in for you ?

It's not a hack and my email here is safe, they just seem to be using on site message tools like sending a message to the webmaster to get out of needing a valid email.

I think it's probably related to an argument I got into on Facebook and they were smart enough to know who I am here.

I mean I'm not stressing over it. I'm not scared or worried. Amused and a little flattered maybe. Somebody going to all that obsessive trouble over little old me?

-- People who pursue online vendettas are, to my mind, similar to people who get heavily into the conspiracy-theories thing. They should all get off their keyboards and go and do something real, like some voluntary work with homeless people, displaced people, disadvantaged kids etc. Get in touch with the actual world and experience what it's like to be in contact with and help people who can seriously use the help. Feet back on the ground and the heart a bit more open again.
