The point isn't too take away anyone's precious freedoms, it's too acknowledge the role violent and divisive rhetoric as is constantly being offered by a particular wing of the American body politic.

When the president implies he likes the idea of shooting immigrants, don't be surprised if his fellow travelers start shooting immigrants.

Also I could be much more inclusive and list the Dayton shooter, but then I'd have to include every right wing shooter with as tenuous a connection between their actions and ideology, and I don't think you'd like the way those numbers stack up.

Even if you include antifa the body count pales in comparison.

really?

lets see what was said your link.

"Don't forget: We don't let them, and we can't let them, use weapons. We can't," Trump said. "Other countries do. We can't. I would never do that. But how do you stop these people? You can't."

"Shoot them!" yelled a supporter in the crowd.

Trump responded with a joke, "That's only in the Panhandle you can get away with this stuff," Trump said referring to Florida's Panhandle. "Only in the Panhandle."

Read it as a joke against the one who said it. The previous statement explicitly states why the US doesn't do what some others countries
are allowed to do in protecting their borders. Have been in units assisting in guarding them....

places called "no mans land" means no mans land as no living man can cross them...either way.

Wow, he held all this in ... until now. Wonder why? I thought Trump was proud of taking care of the immigrant problem. However, if automation is one of his complaints, then we can surely expect more of this because there are more like him --and there'll surely be more automation. I mean, companies have the freedom to use machines when they can. Ah, and we have to expect some industrial sabotage too, if shooting and blowing stuff up is a solution.

What the people who don't have those feelings going to do about those who do? That's the problem. The Chinese send potential troublemakers to re-education camps. Maybe we could send these guys to Guantanamo.

Agree with a strong boarder having had a relative killed long ago by an illegal alien who then fled back to mexico
before the trial, there is a cost to not protecting it...does not mean killing people who try, it does mean letting them
know its not easy or possible to do...

The Trump has been president for 2.5yrs
before that many of those who hate him now liked and enjoyed his company then...
Lived and worked in counties where all that is being talked about by some here is actively enacted there.
health care, jobs, ect...

odd how many of those there want to come here....

MPs have told the BBC about the threats and abuse they face, including being sent pictures of decapitated bodies, being surreptitiously filmed and having dog mess smeared on their door.

Wonder about this guy, should he be included?

Curt James Brockway, 39, was arrested Saturday at the Mineral County Fair and charged with assault on a minor, according to Sheriff Mike Boone. Brockway slammed the child on the ground because he did not remove his hat during the national anthem, witnesses told KPAX.

Trump might be listening to the same npr radio as me. He seems to frequently talk about the subjects on npr within a day or two.

That being said, the recent movie 'The Hunt" was recently cancelled due to the shootings last week but I noticed they changed the protagonists and their viewpoints as a deceptive tool and that is the most interesting part.

Perhaps yeniseri is referring to “Dixicrats” or the Southern Democrats who seceded from the party in 1948 in opposition to its policy of extending civil rights (and again after the civil rights and voting rights acts of the 1960s)?

It's definitely true, part of why, even though the Democrats started the KKK, they only show up for Republican events these days.
