Back in May in the Portland, Oregon area, a student came into his high school school wearing a trench coat that was concealing a shotgun. A coach making security rounds in the hall saw him after some other students exited his classroom. The coach took the shotgun from him and then gave him a hug. It is not clear from the soundless video that's been released if prior consent was given for the hug, but there are no charges pending on that at this time as far as I know. The student was arraigned on weapons charges.
