Just saying, if this was a TV show, it would be nearly impossible to not write this for the season finale.

Conway, Christie, and 3 senators to also test positive in order to achieve the same "goal."?

Sure. Dramatic structure requires it. Now it Pelosi tests positive that doesn't track with the plot. But if, let's say, 4 republican senators fall ill, throwing the majority out of Mitch's hands, and ACB can't get confirmed, the ratings would be through the roof.

What a fucking cliff hanger!?!?

But then there's the lame duck session. What it ACB catches COVID? I mean, it was her announcement that was the super-spreader event that got something like 8 GOP big shots sick? Now THAT would be crazy irony.

ACB already had covid earlier this year, I believe. Already recovered.

Other than that, yeah about the plot twists, lol.

Oh, I was thinking in terms of conspiracy plots. That 45 would catch covid to take everyone's attention over all the other things that've been in the news. He would gain sympathy, and people would have to treat him nice. Hey, Biden pulled all his negative Trump ads. Twitter (or FB) apparently pulled any tweets hoping he would die. They didn't do the same for AOC and the "squad."

(Ok, imo, Biden and Twitter are "right," not to allow attacks on people and their families. Yeah, suddenly everyone is supposed to be sympathetic and empathetic for the guy who mocks the disabled, the dead, the elderly, the weak, the unattractive to the cheers of his audience. Yet, now is exactly the time to be empathetic).

Conway, Christie, and 3 senators to also test positive in order to achieve the same "goal."?

Not just them, the head of his campaign, the chairman of the RNC, and the president of Notre Dame are some of the important ones. But, the uncertainty of covid is that it can take a while to be detected. And, it's still not clear whether someone is contagious after infection or can be reinfected.

He’s in the high risk 70+(and perhaps overweighted?)group. If he manage this infection gallantly and out from the hospital in a jiffy the whole symbolism of that might give of an pandemic of strong hope in Americans, and then while positivity flourish among Americans their immune system strengthen so any Covid infection will just come on mildly.......8-)

However, there might be shadowy minds behind all this that saw to that him being infected and hospitalized, and while in military hospital his condition might worsen...there’s probably all kinds of evil germs and tools stored.
Putin or Xi, no not them...The domestic opposition it might be..Or the puppeteer we can’t see...
His domestic opposition have tried almost everything to destabilize him during these past four years, perhaps it has reached virus level now for him specifically too ?

:) This is the guy who runs all those shady operations trying to screw China. But, he's also the one who arrived last to the debate, wasn't tested beforehand, had his family take off their masks in the debate room, spewed spittle, and you think someone shady infected him? It's the other way around, he was the spreader because he was the infected one.

But, if someone was smart enough to be able to infect the leader of the free world who is protected by millions of dollars of security 24/7, it was probably a Republican insider. Hope Hicks is the likely candidate.

Xi is one smart cookie, and "slow" Joe can't be smart enough to outsmart a genius.

I think it just goes to show that the virus is still immune to whatever 45 says. Listen to the experts, and let them take the blame. Don't take medical advice from a tv doctor or a game show host. Easy.

Just in, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany says she has tested positive for COVID-19.

Damn. Does sound like a b movie.

T seems to be better now? Many have thought they have improved, but then drastically get worse again within a few days. I'll guess we'll just have to see how this goes... -shrug-

We can't really know his true condition. Yeah, many people seem to get better, and then have an over-active immune response. The problem is that the virus is unpredictable.

nah...even for those who develop serious symptoms, it usually takes about 5 or 6 days.

Here's a breakdown of the timeline from that great liberal bastion of the left, 'Business Insider':
https://www.businessinsider.com/coronav ... nts-2020-2
Day 7: This is how long it took, on average, for some patients in Wuhan to be admitted to the hospital after their symptoms started. Other Wuhan patients developed shortness of breath on this day.

T is on, we think, day 5. We can only guess because his doctors aren't sharing when his last negative test was. Nothing is likely to be serious till at least Tuesday'ish.

That being said, even if he's just getting a mild case and is on his way back to health, he's still infectious for about 10 days. So this is defly not a good time to work in the west wing.

https://edition.cnn.com/videos/health/2 ... ay-vpx.cnn

On average it takes 5–6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for symptoms to show, however it can take up to 14 days.

Keep in mind that the fatality rate for 70+ year olds who are hospitalized for Covid is between 4-6% depending upon the source.

And the President, without question, got the best possible treatment with a full time staff devoted to him personally. All of that is going to increase virtually anyone's odds.

Finally, we've simply gotten better at treating the disease.

For sure President Trump is not out of the woods yet, but the odds are firmly in his favor.

He is back to the White House, making a public show of "strength", but though it's clear he's a liar in almost everything, I still tend to believe him that he's feeling a lot better already. It doesn't seem too far fetched to me. Maybe things will still get worse, but maybe all the experimental treatments done so early are rather effective. Although the politics and PR aspects are altogether different subjects. I would like him to learn some lesson and not play things down since others had and will have much worse outcomes and not be able to get this level of treatment, but it doesn't seem like he will have any ability to reflect in this way, even if it could be to his benefit.

If the doctors at WR said it's okay for him to go home, that's fine. If he's doing it to project an image, it's just another example of poor judgment. I think he loses more by not being in the hospital where they're prepared to handle him. Sure, he can be treated in the WH; but, it's safer at the hospital. But, people who thought he was conveniently faking it will be convinced, and be even less sympathetic to him.

Anybody know if he got the hcq treatment?
