Exellent clip. The key point is at 11:48 -- if you want to lose fat then take in less carbon. That means you'll be breathing out the carbon that you metabolize from fat rather than the carbon you took in through food. That means low-carbor at least controlling carbs to some extent.

In general, people don't know how breathing relates to everything else let along fat loss.

I definitely have no understanding of how fat turns into CO2 and water.

I mean there is C and H and O in fat, so I guess that makes sense, but that's pretty much where my high school level of biology and chemistry understanding stop ---- to paraphrase Homer Simpson, there are both letters and numbers, there, haha.

Whatever that process is, in my training regimen and per basic fitness concepts, mild to moderate physical activity uses glycogen while "fat" is used for longer duration activity! Of course breathing adjusts accordingly based on elements of abdominal adiposity, degree of activty/fitness level realizing that metabolism is part of the equation. The more active you are the higher your metabolism and less active, the slower metabolism though a paradox exists based on nutrition and other factors. If you are less active then your subjective view of x activity (scale of perceived exertion (RPE) per fitness level and how hard you breathe would be a 6 (example only) BUT 3 months down the line it would decerase to a 3 since you have become more accustomed to the activity and your system is more able to burn 'fat'. NOTE: There are varying scales for RPE /Borg scale for perceived exertion

Of course, we have to breathe and based on that, our metablism is affected

Does this mean that Qibellies actually do not breath correctly...or that they are doing it right ?

Breathing = intake of the oxygen from atmosphere ,
oxygen = combustion ( if you add some matter ;) )
but
