On one hand I think it's great when celebrities can use their 'following' (of viewers) to affect positive change... but this is completely ill-informed. "we should close all wet markets" is saying "close the farmers markets that sell fresh produce"
in his rant:
"but thanks to some fucking bat eating, wet market animal selling, virus making greedy bastards, the whole world is now on hold, not to mention the thousands that have suffered or died from this virus. My message to them other than “thanks a fucking lot” is go vegan."

Then while millions of people are out of work, struggling to feed their families or of course DYING, he whined about not being able to perform.
"To all the people missing out on our shows, I wish I could be there more than you know. It’s been great hanging out in isolation with my children and family, but I miss my other family, my band, my crew and my fans. Take care of yourselves and hope we can get the show on the road again soon. I’ll be performing a snippet from each album we were supposed to perform for the next few days. X❤️ #songsfromisolation #covid_19 #banwetmarkets"

Bryan, know when to keep your head down, brother.

Many celebrities are, at heart, attention-seekers.

They just miss the fawning fans.

Misdirected vegan rage.

Stop wearing sunglasses at night and eat a stake!

Did he ever really have any best days
A lot of western food practices should be closed down before wet markets
Destruction of rainforests so cattle and palm oil can be harvested for multinational food chains add to these viruses being liberated to run free

You mean he's a vampire? Interesting, your recommendation that the stake should be driven through his mouth and not through his heart.
+1 for thinking outside the box! :D

Very true.

-- Although to be fair, one can't accuse vegans of contributing to rain forest destruction for cattle farming. Palm oil is something else. Back in the days, a couple of times I walked into a palm oil plantation in Malaysia. Astounding to be in a place that, on one level, is full of trees and, on another level, feels, smells and sounds like an industrial wasteland devoid of any normal life.

there's always people saying "vegetarians and vegans contribute to rainforest destruction - most of it is to grow soy and other beans"...

what the other half of that statement REALLY is though, that those crops are grown for feeding the cattle raised for the beef industry

Yeah. Feed conversion ratios indicate, roughly, the amount of calories, protein and nutrients lost when (edible) plants go through conversion to meat before being consumed by humans.

Mainstream Feed Conversion Ratios

Chickens – 2x-5x
Pigs – 4x-9x
Cows – 6x-25x

Whereby the "edible weight" of animals (i.e. what people actually eat after discarding animal body fluids, bones etc.) is way towards the higher end of the spectrum.

Just responding to Meeks' observation about bean crops for the cattle industry.
No intention to kick off a new topic about how healthy meat-including diets, vegetarian diets and vegan diets are!! I don't really have a steak in that debate.

A guy who worked on a Bryan Adams gig said he requested only white people to work on the crew.
