I'm neither a socialist nor a nazi. Anyone who tries to conflate the two doesn't know what they are talking about and should read more history. But, I will take your meaning in the best possible light. I have friends who call me comrade and I don't mind. I was just pointing out the inconsistencies in the critique.

But, that doesn't mean I'm going to do mental jujitsu to turn a blind eye to the human rights abuses going on in Xinjiang.

Also, just because the PRC claims to be fighting ISIS doesn't mean they are. Are they fighting ISIS in Tibet?

Luckily there’s no islamists in the province of Tibet, so not any dangers, quite peaceful there....during the terrors of the Lama controlled Tibet lots of Tibetans fled to China settled in Sichuan. The Lama controlled Tibet with its serf cast was the real terror state, perhaps comparable with what ISIS has in mind these days..you know the Nazi human candle stories stem from that old Tibet, they used the fat of toddlers to make lamp oil..horrifying...china liberated the region and the silly guy Dalai Lama ran with the CIA

How often have anthropophagic accusations turned out to be overblown propaganda and racist justification for the hegemonic dominion of subaltern populations (Arens 1979)?

I don't know anyone who thinks that Tibet was some sort of paradise. The tyrannical nature of the government there is well documented. But, your article misrepresents the current countermovement and leader who has, himself, derided the Tibet of the past. In other words, why trade one tyrant for another?

Here is a much more nuanced approach (the middle way):

Also, you dodged the question.

Oh, tell me how ? Anyway, one more time for you - There’s no tyranny in Tibet, that’s the answer

. Actually that’s probably what most believe, that it was some sort of peaceful paradise...they are led to believe that, by people who spread lies about china

It’s an ever ongoing thing, Tibet issue with the CIA stooge Dalai Lama hasn’t worked too well for the imperialists, so seemingly they now try with the Xinjiang
. Historical facts clearly demonstrate that the so-called "Tibetan independence" was in fact cooked up by old and new imperialists, and was part of Western aggressors' scheme to carve up the territory of China.

Da Comarade Ian.

But Central Committee has ruled proletariat must not criticize principles of Glorious People's Revolution...

But in all seriousness the whose in charge issue isn't the real issue involving Tibet.

Anyone with an open mind realizes that pre-industrial traditional cultures suck ass. Child rape, slavery, selling family members, ridiculous levels of day to day violence as compared to the West et al are standard behavior in those societies.

The issue involves cultural assimilation and what that means.

Multiculturalism is a lie that destroys societies over time by pitting one group against another in the pursuit of power. Which is why all socialist regimes encourage this obscenity in the West and ruthlessly enforce cultural homogenization at home. It is also why all successful societies over time only have one cultural narrative.

The reason why Tibetans don't want to be part of Chinese society is that they understand what this means: the complete and utter destruction of their cultural identity over time. Seeing as how there might be five, or six, million Tibetans in the PRC in total they have no chance of surviving long terms against a population of 1.1 billion Han Chinese. It might never get to the concentration camp level the way it did with the Uyghurs, but it doesn't need to.

Between Confucian cultural directives requiring strict compliance and the socialists in charge of the government proper, it is the Han way or the guillotine over time. The Tibetans know this and it's why they don't want any part of the PRC. Not that they have a choice in any event.

They fought the PRC for 30 years and lost. The second the railroad and highway from the PRC proper made it into the Tibetan areas west of Sichuan the "independence" argument was over.

Aside from the stuff you made up or got from confused sources about multiculturalism and socialism, I agree that the Tibetans and Uygurs are being oppressed by the CCP.

But, I wonder if you think the Bhutanese are not open minded? And they seem to be doing quite well with a preindustrial culture. In case you hadn't noticed, all the things you ascribe to preindustrial cultures exist today. And, they didn't have to trash the planet to get there.

Post-industrial peace; world wars, atomic bombs, forced starvation, commodity fetishism, ecological disasters, wage slavery, etc...Yup, doing great! I also have to wonder if you have ever lived in a city. One of the greatest things about living in a huge city is the multiculturalism. I've never felt that I was pitted against my neighbors in pursuit of power, though. Where do you come up with this stuff? Jordan Peterson? You know those guys haven't even read the most basic literature pertaining to what they blather on about, right?

What is the alternative to multiculturalism where you live? A white ethnostate? I'm genuinely curious.

I know a lot of people who are interested in or from that part of the world. Literally none of them think that.

Your comments about history and "imperial aggressors" is funny considering that China has rewritten its own history to include Tibet, which is ahistorical and is now the impeiral aggressor, just as they are in the South China Sea and in their other various territorial disputes.
