The explosion is unique in the pattern of explosion in two stages with second stage massive sonic shock required intaneous burst vapors gas cloud. No explosives can do that, it’s another level altogether.

So far I've seen nothing to indicate that this was anything other than the result of incompetency on the part of the Lebanese government.

Tragic, and stupid, but typical third world schenanigans.

Negligence, ignorance and complacency of the central government!
There was a simultaneous detonation of 'somehing' as observed by the 4-5 appearance of ignating materials-red sparks! (they say fireworks!) and that trigered the mass detonation with mushroom effect being felt 5-10 miles away (shock waves!).

Anyone know or is aware of the distance between the explosion site !and where the bride video was being recorded?
Reports say the thei sland of Cyprus felt it 100 miles away!

As a point of reference, most sources are equating the size of the blast to be between 1.15 and 1.8 kilotons.

The atom bombs Little Boy was 15 kilotons and Fat Man was 21 kilotons.

Yep, and they were tiny compared to modern versions. Afa being a MOAB, afaik, those weapons are meant to explode above ground. No?

I’m not a munitions/ordinance guy, but Little Boy and Fat Man were designed for air burst from what I understand.

So a little related to the other nuclear thread.

How about the radiation contamination in those two Japanese cities on where the US dropped the two abombs ? I read radiation disappeared rather quick, probably because they blast above ground ?

The explosion above ground is to make as much physical damage(wider area) ?

maybe i am splitting hairs, but to my understanding LB and FM were detonated above ground
cos in research this was found to be more destructive than ground-impact detonation.
