With the recent lockdown, I watched Outlands



A great film. He left an incredible legacy of films beyond Bond; The Untouchables, Zardoz, Marnie, The Hunt for Red October, Name of the Rose, The Man who would be king. Rest in Peace.

You only live twice, not only the best Connery Bond film but the best of them all 007 movies. Also was one of the sources that got me interested in East Asian stuff.
Read somewhere Connery got interested in Karate and did some practice during the shooting of that movie.
His superb 007 legacy will not only live twice but forever.

No Mr. Bond now you die.

A man of many lifetimes.
