Thanks for that. As a model it's something of a blunt instrument - it's just in terms of game theory, which is only one slice of the 'human existence' cake - but I think he also puts his finger on something valuable. Especially in the last section: ethical assholes vs. unethical assholes. That extends the model's frame of reference to a dimension outside the "five stable traits", and a good thing, too. Using thise frame of reference, you could also describe historical figures such as Mahatma Ghandi, Albert Schweitzer, Osckar Schindler and Mother Teresa as "ethical assholes". Also, with reference to significant moments in the story, the possibly historical figure of Jesus Christ. -- I don't want to offend anyone here, just extending the model. You know, throwing the moneylenders out of the temple, telling Thomas he would betray him, etc.
