Having watched it, the guy seems like he’s a politician, is either running for some office or trying to maintain his status.
What’s been going on within the communities that I live and practice in, has been going on for a while just not mentioned much out outside the communities until it seems it’s either politically or ideologically convenient.

Family members, friends and students pretty much voiced the same things, they get what’s going on.

It's getting bad, have spoken to family members and friends about the situation.
