In ne-waza /BJJ (ground technique) application of knee against neck has the same effect and the pretense is so lame that Chauvin will get less punishment than he deserves.

The only time this will change is when sons of the 5% is in a similar situation and the same restraints are applied, will the laws change that allows for prosecution of that type of response on the part of those (the few) who committ these offenses and get away with it.
Otherwise, nothing to see there! Business as usual

The latest witness was a pulmonary and crisis expert. He was counting Floyd's breaths and timing things.

So this is how it happened.

Floyd took his last breath. About 45 seconds later the cops tried to take his pulse and failed. Two minutes and forty-four seconds later they actually let off the pressure. That's a total of three minutes and twenty seven seconds AFTER he stopped breathing that those three cops laid on him with their full body weight, even AFTER he's gone limp, stopped breathing, and has no pulse.

It's gonna be a wild summer if he isn't convicted.

To say the cops were laying on him is incorrect. They were pinning his back/stomach and neck to the ground with their knees. Much worse.

Also, I agree with you on your main points, Yenseri, but your comments about the ring don't make any sense to me. They don't stop fights in mma or judo or bjj until someone taps or the ref thinks they are choked out. Of course, Floyd was tapping the whole time and then was out for far too long.

The defense is trying to make it all about drugs (character assassination), which is bullshit as Dr. Tubin pointed out. It's bullshit. But, it will only take one dipshit on the jury for Chauvin to walk. Very possible.

[12:00] On the basis of the evidence he’s seen, Dershowitz believes the state has proved causation sufficiently and sufficient intent to get a verdict of second-degree manslaughter (up to 10 years sentence), not murder in the 2nd or 3rd degree.

The injustice system is a fickle beast.

Good to see the prosecution was able to make the point without risking the whole shit show. Closing arguments on Monday and then the jury lets us know what to burn to the ground.
