All good! You had me questioning my sanity for a bit as I thought for sure I remembered many heel hooks. Wrist locks seem to be quite rare/absent due to the two on one requirement for application. That's food for thought. They are more prevalent in BJJ comps, but very nasty and quite rude.
As for the OP, I don't think the kick should be banned. Rather, it should be something that the athletes need to deal with.

My favourite wrist lock involves no actual grabbing of the wrist at all, with either hand. It's zero on 1. You do it with your armpit. Sneaky shit
