Great replacement theory is hardcore fascism.
Not even Trumpian fascism-with-a-wink-and-a-nudge, but more like Goebbels-and-Himmler level, we’re-going-to-annihilate-you fascism. It is seriously, seriously disturbing and grotesque stuff. It is the kind of rhetoric which presages real genocides — from Armenia to the Balkans to Rwanda to, yes, Nazi Germany. It is a very, very bad harbinger and sign that a political party and side is now descending to the bottom-most levels of fascism.

Sept. 30, 2021: A man wearing a U.S. flag bandana threw an incendiary device into the Travis County Democratic Party's East Sixth Street office early Wednesday, Austin Fire Department officials said.

Austin firefighters and police responded to the office at about 2 a.m. Thursday after receiving a 911 call about the fire. Neighbors were able to put out the flames with a fire extinguisher before firefighters arrived, Austin Fire Capt. Brandon Jennings said.

Investigators watched footage from security cameras that the Travis County Democrats installed last year after a similar attack, said Kate Naranjo, Travis County Democratic Party chair.
