that I`m really proud of my nation, their reaction for Putin`s aggression is outstanding ,and absolutely unexpected- if you consider, that
"..tearing off tongues family members..." wasn`t rhetorical figure in my post, but cruel reality Polish/Ukrainian relationship during and after II WW .

We got "flash back" from September 1939, when Poland was left alone against Hitler`s army attack, and decided to went over those old shit, close the "cases" and start building new relations with neighbors.

Sounds rough. And me saying that from relative safety feels like bullshitting, but hang in tight and have faith that everything will turn out okay one way or another. Personally, I find it comforting to see that when shit actually hits the fan, people stick together and help each other out when there are real problems. We seem divided, but maybe we're more connected on another level than we thought.

My parents came to Germany from Poland in the 1990-2000s They experienced the collapse of Communism and their 'first' change of a system. That experience changes your world view quite a bit.

By incident, I`ve been on Ukrainian school opening meeting for parents.
Years of internal training came out very handy - emotional atmosphere was so dense, that keepin` calm was the challenge.
Day earlier, 20km from border was heavy Russian rocked attack (300 km from Krakow),

I`m really build up by level of school director efforts - assembly something working in such short time.
From the another hand: part of the of Ukrainians are still, what we call -"homo sovieticus"(grovin` up in old Soviet Union).
They simply didn`t notice, that world is changing, and still came out with Eden expectations.

Last Ukrainian wife left my house. She rented apartment in the city follow her needs.

as I heard recently over 4,5 mil. of Ukrainians crossed Polish border , it is more than 10% Poland`s population.
