Cancel culture vs bitch slap culture

Some people and comedians have been complaining lately they feel like they can't make any jokes without offending some disenfranchised group with more power than they should have and getting cancelled.
What about if, to make them happy, we just start handing out bitch slaps when they cross a line?
At the Oscars Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinket's hair. She has some medical condition that caused her to have to shave her head.
Her husband, Will Smith, walked right up on to the stage and delivered a resounding bitch slap with pretty decent form, though for all the movement I'd hope whoever I did that too would have been on the ground.
I think it's an effective way to get the point across, thoughts?
