The Blue Stuff

So I've been dealing with this pinched nerve for a couple months now. It's striaght hell.

It appears to be in one of my cervical vertebrae. I've been wearing a cervical collar lately and it has hugely improved the symptoms. Namely the muscle cramps going down my arm to my finger have pretty much dissappeared.

However, they're still there a little, I get terrible knots in my back and shoulder that require constant attention with a chirp roller and various vibrating massagers and traction. The shoulder knots in particular feel like an acorn under my shoulder blade, keeps me from being able to touch my toes without doing a couple minutes worth of warm up stretch.

Anyhow, this is all to say I found this blue stuff that is phenomenal for the sore muscles.

They say it's got coconut oil and emu oil and aloe and menthol. I dunno, but it is like icy hot and lidocaine had a baby and it got into all the best schools.

It's kind of pricy, like $34 a bottle, but man such relief, and it's approved for FSA/HSA funds if you have those at amazon or walgreens or cvs or whatever.

I'm also a huge fan of dit da jow, obviously, for bruise treatment, is there a comparable herbal formula for knots that you could reccomend and point me at procuring?

Sorry to hear about your problems. Has your neurologist actually diagnosed a pinched nerve? I'm asking because I had cervical stenosis that required surgery. The pain relief might be good, but you don't want to continue insulting the nerve.

Anyway, afa rehab, is there a way for you to get to swim?

I haven't been in to we a specialist yet. Have been hoping it would just go away. Been getting better but still feels like a peanut is under my shoulder blade.

Thinking back on it i think i may have tweaked something using the heavy bag when i was too emotionally disturbed. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Understood. Maybe pm Doc Stier for surer advice. I only went to a neurologist because it had begun to affect my mobility, and was only getting worse. Good to hear yours is getting better.
