I logged in this morning and here it is 10:30 PM and I'm still logged in. Are the cookies finally working???

mine stays long enough to post now. but not all day or two. think maybe you discovered a portal. how can we join you?

It's been like that (auth cookie/session working properly) for a while now, at least for me. The difference I did see in the last day or two is in the site's responsiveness -- it is significantly better now.
