Some people from the industry points out that Lee had surgically removed his sweat glands and likely died from the heat in HK, and that it was extremely hot in that summer when he died. I guess this could explain why he would drink too much water, to compensate for his body not being able to cool off.

Jury Rules Against Radio Station After Water-Drinking Contest Kills Calif. Mom

""Can you get water poisoning and, like, die?" asked the female disc jockey."

"Not with water," a male disc jockey replied. "Your body is 98 percent water.
Why can't you take in as much water as you want?"

"Maybe we should have researched this before," the female disc jockey added.

Ten employees were fired following the incident.

Speaking after the verdict, juror LaTeshia Paggett said the contest had never gone to the legal department
"and it was supposed to go to legal."

Juror Tammy Elliott focused on the cautionary phone calls. "The biggest thing that got most of us was all of the phone calls that came in," she said. "Like, a nurse called."

How do you remove all sweat glands surgically?? Sounds like some serious work. And no scars afterwards?

I've read a long while ago that he also took various PEDs.

hmm,
wasn`t it "classic" case of overheating, due to excessive hard (yang) training?

The idea that the 1.6-5 million sweat glands distributed throughout the human body can be surgically removed is totally absurd. ::)
