It is interesting, but I don't find it funny. I don't know how hard they got punched, but in general I don't think that videos, where people are doing something on purpose to get hurt (even if they volunteered for it), are funny.

It's just me.

Which probably means that it is not internal and therefore his shit is fake.

I suppose this is a generation thing - those who grew up with beavus and butthead and so on. I frankly do not find it funny - its repulsive that it should be set to music as "entertainment".

Not "entertainment". "art". I wonder if they knew they were going to get cold-cocked. At least it did not look like they were hit that hard. The slow-mo exaggerates the effect.

Actually, judging by the amount of tissue deformation visible upon impact ( and the movement of the jaw) I would say that they got hit pretty hard. Not funny, at least not to me. Art? Marcel Duchamp said that art was anything that the artist put his name to.

You can see some people flinch when the fist is coming, they knew.

Definitely interesting, watching the deformation of their faces as the impact hit was definitely interesting.

The only one I really found funny though was the chick that they started the vid with, when she got hit, her whole face lurched over to the side and her hand was still sitting there with the streamer.

I don't find it offensive at all, extremely interesting, rather. I'd get punched in da mouf on film for a couple bucks.

That's my feeling as well. You know, at least I hope that the "artist" had some integrity and got him(her)self punched at least once and at least as hard. Otherwise, I would find it quite cowardly.

Having had a few bloody noses and also some temporary jaw problems after more or less hard hits, at first sight I think that it is quite sick to subject people to this kind of treatement.

Maybe someone will note that most of us get injured during training. Yes, it is true, but it is a very personal choice that stems from the fact that we gain something much more valuable from the training process. At first sight, this does not seem to be the case here. Now everybody is free to do as they please, but personally I do not like this kind of thing. It reeks of vulgarization of violence and even turning it into entertainement (it may be "art" but it does have a strong entertainment factor to it). Not quite what we need today.

If this was a study about strikes to the face, it would be different as the cause would be more beneficial in it's outcome than an "artsy" video on Youtube.

(Yes, I just had a cup of coffee).
